The terms on which you read the index and buy what it sells.
In force from October 4, 2026. This page is between you and AI Indexes LLC, the publisher of this site.
The index is free to read, with no account. The pages, the standings and the method files are released under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license. You may copy them, quote them, chart them and publish them commercially, provided you credit the Finance AI Recommendation Index and link to it.
You may not present it as your own work, state or imply that it endorses a product, or alter a figure and keep attributing it here.
The record is the raw material behind the pages: every model answer in full and every label the judge wrote, by edition. Until 4 October 2026 the September and October 2026 records were offered for download under CC BY 4.0, and copies obtained then keep those terms.
From that date no edition’s record is offered for download. It is sent on request, under the record license: for the research or reporting it was sent for, with commercial use, redistribution and model training by agreement. The per-answer evidence on each page, the quotes, the pages cited and the counts, stays on the page and stays under CC BY 4.0.
The index records what a set of large language models answered when asked the same buying questions, and what a disclosed judge model labeled in those answers. It is a measurement of model output. It is not a review, a ranking of product quality, a certification, or advice. The Disclaimers set that out in full and form part of these terms.
One thing is for sale: the subscriber app at app.ai-indexes.com, priced per seat, for one company. Prices are shown on the Subscribe page. The edition packs sold until October 2026 are retired.
What is sold is the measurement read for one company, not a say in it. No payment changes a label, a share, a rank, a verdict, or the order of anything on this site. Subscribers get no preview, no veto and no say in the questions. No ratings are solicited or accepted from vendors.
Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record for every sale. Your contract of sale, your payment, your invoice, any tax charged and any refund are handled by Lemon Squeezy under their terms. These terms govern your use of the index and of the app.
A subscription renews until you cancel it, from the billing portal linked in the app and on every receipt. Cancel at any time and access runs to the end of the period already paid for. Seats added during a period are charged for the rest of it; seats removed stop being charged from the next renewal. Refunds are on the Refunds page.
This is worth stating plainly, because it is unusual. The record behind the app is the same record the pages on this site are built from, free to read there, with every figure traced to its answers. You are not buying exclusivity or a private dataset.
What the app and its MCP server return may be used for the subscribing company’s own reporting, as it likes: inside the company and in its own materials, credited to the index. It may not be sold, resold or redistributed as data, or used to train or tune a model.
You are paying for the work of reading it for one company: every category the company is named in, across all four indexes, the change against the previous edition counted only when larger than chance, the products the models pick instead, the sources they cite and every answer behind every figure, delivered on the day the edition publishes.
Claiming is free and open to a representative of the product. A claim is verified by email: an address at the product’s own domain is approved automatically, any other address is reviewed by hand.
A claim gives you a named contact on the page, a one-line description marked as supplied by you, notice when an edition publishes, and the right to propose corrections to the vendor table. Corrections cover the names a judge wrote that should or should not read as your product, and each one is applied by version and listed in the change log. While the vendor brief is new, a new claim also receives the current edition’s brief by email, compiled from the published record; it is complimentary, offered at the publisher’s discretion, and may be withdrawn for later claims.
A claim gives you no change to any label, share, rank or verdict, no preview before an edition publishes, no say over which quotes appear, and no right to have the page removed. Claiming changes nothing in the data.
Following a product or a category is free, needs one confirmed email address, and brings one email the morning each edition publishes. Every such email carries a stop link, and stopping takes effect at once. The release note is the same: one email an edition, a preference page in every one.
The review room is for people the index has engaged to review labels, under their own agreement with the index. A reviewer’s link is personal and is not to be shared; a review made through it is the reviewer’s own work and becomes part of the index’s record, paid at the agreed rate. The index may stop a reviewer’s link at any time, and a reviewer may stop at any time, with what was reviewed to that point paid.
Read it, cite it, script against the pages and the method files. Do not do anything that degrades the service for other readers, and do not use the site to impersonate the index or its correspondence.
Product names, logos and trademarks belong to their owners and are used to identify the products the models named. Their appearance is not a partnership, sponsorship or endorsement in either direction.
The person who operates this index also operates a product that appears in it. That product is in the vendor table so that a model naming it is published like any other label, and it received no special handling in collection, scoring or publication. The full policy is in the method, and the disclosure appears on that product’s own page and in the footer of every page.
The index is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, no warranty is given that it is accurate, complete, current or fit for a particular purpose, and it should not be the only basis for a purchasing decision.
To the extent the law allows, the total liability of AI Indexes LLC to you for anything arising out of the index or these terms is limited to what you paid in the twelve months before the claim arose, or to nothing if you paid nothing. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
These terms may change. The date at the top is when the current version came into force, and a material change to what a subscription includes is told to subscribers by email rather than only posted here.
These terms are governed by the law of Arizona, United States, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction. If any part of them cannot be enforced, the rest still stands.
